Don't let "blue" cities tell you what you can and can't do. There are no blue states, only blue cities. Good on those kids.

We need more of this. I guarantee those kids who are trusted to responsibly handle guns handle themselves responsibly as well.

My Junior Highschool had a gun range in it. Too bad by the time I was in that school it was converted to other purposes. Imagine getting to learn to shoot a .22 as part of your normal daily classes.

We used to trust kids and tell them to act like adults, so they did. Now they're told nothing is their fault and that they're too young to do anything that would cause them to develop into happy adults.

This is why you have 30 year old's that think its acceptable to live at home and not have a real job.

I worked with a guy that his wife would not let their 13 year old take out the trash if the sun was down. In a VERY safe almost entirely White city because he might get "snatched". That kid probably still acts like a child even though they are in their late 20's now.

Stop acting like children are untouchable and unable to do fuck-all.

My mom was very, very liberal until Biden's covid policies flipped her hardcore. When I was a kid she had me in the Girl Scouts because she wanted me to make friends. She pulled me out and put me in 4H within a few weeks. I just remember her telling me that she didn't want me influenced by them. I asked her recently what it was that triggered that and she does not remember specifics but she remembers adoring the parents and kids when I was in 4H and was sad when moved to an area without it.

She said 4H was so wholesome, practical and they accepted us in a way the scouts never would. I couldn't do a lot of the farm stuff like raising pigs because of where we lived but no one cared and I remember being allowed to go see the other kids on their farms. If it's anything like it was in the 80s then it's an amazing organization.

Everyone's 4h experience is different but its not really a bad thing. I was involved as a Youth and would be involved again if I was somewhere that it would matter. I did have a time where I hated it but now that I am older I understand it and it was a good experience in the end.
