Newsflash! Wild animals are WILD. THEY WILL KILL YOU. Just because it looks big and fluffy and calm does not mean it cant change in half a second and kill you painfully. This happens several times a year EVERY YEAR in Yellowstone.
If you think you are far enough away, add a hundred yards. They can move far faster than you can.
