Correct me if I'm wrong, farming those rare earth materials causes severe pollution of the land. The chemicals needed to strip the material alone is incredibly toxic. Is the beautiful state of Wyoming gonna become a poisonous swamp?

I am not familiar with the mining methods but all of them are dangerous and typically creates toxic waste. There are some places in WY that already have that problem including a small town that is basically a ghost town now since it really only existed for the uranium mine which has not been active for decades.
