Wyoming sure has its ups and downs but I've enjoyed my time that I've spent there. When you get kind of closer to the Front Range it starts to suck a little bit but I enjoyed the northern town of Sheridan and the Bighorn range pretty much right next to it. I had I herd of elk come up to my camper about 5 days straight in the evening time. There was no boys it was all girls and they would bugle sort of. I would leave my door open but I had a screen so they couldn't see in and the closest one got was about 5 ft, that was pretty fun. Lots of berries too like the huckleberries right on the ground. It was fire season up there and there's a big fire north of me about 20 miles and when the wind would come it would create a bellowing effect. The wind would hit me and then about 10 seconds later it hit the fire and stoke the fire. It would make the sky just blood red, it was really creepy and cool at the same time.

11: I can't find any decently-priced homes with more than 10 square feet of land for sale.

Altitude

No joke. People can laugh all they want, until they're in it, sucking for air, 2 seconds from passing out, because they didn't pace themselves on shit they do at sea level

Low altitude makes you weak.

I know some Cajuns that would disagree with you

I know some mountain men that would laugh at your Cajuns when they freeze to death in July.

I joke though. There are good people in "working man" places. The big cities.. Not as much.

The proximity to pronghorn and monster North Platte trout are worth the price of admission.
