This act will create an ESA program for low-income students.

Scholarship amounts are prorated based on family income.

Families at 150% or less of the federal poverty level can receive $6,000; families at or below 200% receive $4,800, and so on until the income limit of 500%."

Love the qualifiers. “On paper you make more than % of the federal poverty line, therefore you don’t deserve to write off your kids education.”

Even the “conservatives” embrace class warfare bullshit.

Also, I missed it, but was there any incentive for homeschooling? I mean, I doubt it.

And the “private” schools will probably have to pass some sort of “certification” to qualify - meaning, DEI is headed to private institutions. This is going to be the “busing” of the 21st century, once they figure out how to make it work.
