The bill would specify that anyone who can carry a concealed weapon in Wyoming could carry a gun into governmental meetings, including those of the legislature and local governmental meetings, such as city council and county commission meetings.

Wyoming law allows state residents who are 21 years old or older to carry firearms without a permit. They could also carry guns into elementary or secondary schools as well as colleges and universities, and sporting events held on school grounds.

The bill would not prevent private property owners from banning firearms from their property.

Gun rights advocates have been trying for years to get similar legislation passed by the Wyoming Legislature, so far without final success."

Which gun control sign will a criminal with a stolen firearm Care about? NONE of them. So only the moronic pretend gun control stops crime.

Exactly. It was only about 5-6 months ago where some criminal went to shoot up a mall (gun free zone). A young man was carrying and well trained even though it was a "gun free zone". He dropped the criminal mass-shooter for something like 40 yards with his pistol keeping the guy from being able to shoot who knows how many people.

Without the good guy with a gun in the "gun free zone" dozens of people could have died. If I remember properly, the only fatality was the bad guy and there were some people shot but not killed.

The 'LIE' started in hollywood with the 'wild west' movies, when the reality is the old west criminal was usually Shot by The armed citizen because Everyone was armed so crime was lower than the average blue city today.

The 4-year college in Laramie WY is extremely anti-gun and happens to own the property that several restaurants and a couple of hotels lease. A Wyoming lawmaker refused to disarm at one of the hotel convention spaces for a University sponsored event and they tried to prosecute him.

Even in deep-red Wyoming there are some liberal hold-outs. Its pretty damn easy being liberal when you are surrounded by a bunch of polite keep-to-themself conservatives.
