It'd be absolute suicide to send B-52s over Iran. Now the B-2 stealth bomber on the hand could probably get in and out no problem. But sending the giant ass non stealthy B-52 to do a bombing run without a completely decimating Iranian air defenses first is just asking for it to be shot down.

No kidding. People don't seem to understand that there is a reason that Iran has not been taken over in over a 100+ years. It's damn near impossible to fight there and there are a billion places to hide their AA stuff and move it into caves to protect it.
