March 11, farmers and citizens joined forces for a massive protest against the Rutte IV government. The big announced demonstration 'Vote them out', organized by Samen voor Nederland and Farmers Defense Force, took place in the Zuiderpark in The Hague. Although known as a farmers' protest, an estimated 35,000 citizens came to The Hague to stand up against the Rutte IV government. During the demonstration, they expressed their dissatisfaction with a variety of issues, including the allowance scandal, ongoing inflation, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia, coronagraph measures, the energy crisis and the rollout of a control society.

Besides the large number of demonstrators to The Hague, there were also many speakers such as legal philosopher Eva Vlaardingerbroek and journalist Arnold Karskens, as well as politicians such as Wybren van Haga (BVNL), Thierry Baudet (FVD), Rob Roos (JA21) and Geert Wilders (PVV).

Ahead of this demonstration, The Hague Mayor Jan van Zanen had banned farmers from coming to the Zuiderpark with their tractors. He also placed a maximum on the number of demonstrators allowed to participate in the protest. In addition, he said he would not rule out deploying the army if necessary. But despite the discouragement, the critical farmers and citizens were determined to make their voices heard peacefully.
