I read many articles, which refer to national security threats (startpage.com). There are UFO threats (startpage.com) and my favorite: parents (startpage.com).

But consider that we no longer have a nation, but a tyrannical police state. Therefore, national security refers to a threat to tyrants and despots. We need to stop thinking as if we have a country, instead that we are being attacked by an enemy.

In my mind, a nation is a collection of people with a similar culture. We no longer have that. Instead, we live in a pluralistic society. A nation has a government that represents the interests of its citizens; we don't have that. The United States are supposed to be United; we don't have that. There's a push to nationalize all laws and have a single police force to inflict the rules of the tyrants in charge. I can't find anything that resembles a country. You can't even claim we have a border.

We have lines drawn on a map, and that's about it.

For how long?

Doesn't matter, it's only colored paper and represents what used to be.
