Businesses don't have rights... until the people behind them exercise them. I believe we need to stop the idea that businesses and corporations have personhood. Businesses and corporations are abstract entities only. People behind the shield of corporations need to be held accountable for their actions. I think of corporations the same way I think of derivative instruments: they hide toxic assets.
You are over 100 years too late. Corporations are legally people and in truth have more rights than any individual in the USA. That's the reality we are in.
Just because this ludicrous situation has been going on for 100s of years doesn't mean we can't stop it now. It's just people have grown up with this notion and accept it. All we need to do is come up with a suitable meme.
