Whether employed or not, start your own small business. Write off everything related to that business startup (electricity, supplies, telephone, etc.). Write off a portion of your rent (or mortgage) and such stuff as light bulbs and toilet paper. Write off your computer if you use it in business (which includes if you only use your computer for accounting, invoices, and tax form preparation). Write off every car trip that has anything at all to do with your new business. Also, you are not required to make a profit for a few years - so, after a few years, if you're not making a profit perhaps discontinue the business and try again with a new business.

It is not illegal to pay the least taxes possible.

You have to show income for that business.

You do, but you don't have to make any sort of profit for a few years.
