So, the only real option is what was debated at the time of the Constitution - any issuance of money must be specie rather than paper, and the only way government can be involved is in the coining, ie, verification of purity and weight of coinage issued, and make coinage weight and purity based. Give the death penalty for anyone who dilutes currency.
End all legal tender laws; allow for “competing” currencies such as crypto. But only “certify” the hard metal coinage.
