The United Nations is ready to meet all of Moscow's conditions for the resumption of the Black Sea grain initiative, Bild reports, citing a letter from UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres sent to Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov.
According to the German edition, Guterres proposed in a letter to Lavrov "to build an agreement between Russia and the Secretariat of the organization on the basis of four cornerstone principles" with the help of which it is possible to resume the grain deal.
The material says that the implementation of these principles will lead to the fulfillment of all the requirements put forward by the Russian side.
Recall, the grain deal ended on July 17.
Earlier it was reported that the ships with Ukrainian wheat in the Black Sea after the completion of the food initiative were guarded by airplanes of the UK Air Force.
