I'll agree that there's a suspicious absence of smart phone evidence for the war, but that's a pretty bold statement. What evidence is there that this is a wag the dog situation, other than having less footage than past wars? There have been stories about Russian SigInt intercepting cell phone transmissions and firing cruise missiles at training centers. This could be related to the absence of video evidence. I don't have a strong opinion either way, but I'm not sold. There are definitely Ukrainian "refuges" from the area that are being shipped to other countries.
