How is Portugal doing lately? I heard they declared all citizens of former Portuguese colonies (ie. Brazil) eligible for Portuguese citizenship. They had the expected tsunami of sudden immigration and problems and the default stance of everyone in Portugal suddenly flipped to strong anti immigration. Even the Portuguese subreddit looks like a hard right wing forum now.
