What the article fails to mention is the fully intact Afghanistan passport that was found underneath the boot. Clearly it was random terrorist attack.

We don't need this boot to confirm that the US absolutely had a major role in the terror attack.

I'm trying to figure out how a man would've lost a boot when performing an underwater demolition strike- the team wouldn't have been wearing boots. They'd be wearing "flippers" of some sort, not a fucking combat boot. The boot would've had to have fallen from a ship or something like that. Who knows how old the thing is- it wasn't collected so it couldn't be analyzed. All we know: It's an American issued combat boot that's issued to US military, and it was spotted near the scene of a sabotage operation.
