Copenhagen is not interested in organizing an independent international investigation into the explosions at the Nord Stream pipeline.
Russian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark Vladimir Barbin said this in an exclusive interview with Izvestia.
"Denmark claims to be investigating the explosions of the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines.

According to him, the Danish authorities "reject any interaction with the Russian side on this criminal case, they also show no interest in organizing an independent international investigation",
"Instead of consolidating international efforts in the fight against terrorism and crime, they are fragmenting them along national and bloc lines, which devalues the relevant international legal documents and political agreements", Barbin summarized.

It said that U.S. divers had planted bombs during the Baltops exercise in the Baltic Sea back in June 2022, and that the Norwegians had activated the explosives.
Washington's motives, according to Hersh, were to force the FRG to provide military and financial assistance to Ukraine.
The U.S. authorities denied such accusations. Then other versions of what happened appeared in the media.
In particular, The New York Times, citing US intelligence data, wrote that there was a "pro-Ukrainian group" behind the bombings that was not affiliated with Kiev....
