I've been consistently stunned whenever I mention that "For the last 14-15 years, the Ukrainian government has been shelling and bombing DPR, LPR, Zaporozhe, and Odessa" after a vote was held where the people of those regions voted in a landslide to separate from the Ukraine, to either form their own new state, or become a part of the Russian Federation. After that vote, the Ukrainian regime decided "Fuck your vote, you Russian speaking dicks, we're going to fucking kill you all." It was in the news back when it erupted, you can find videos of combat from like 2015 at the Donetsk airport and other locations. All of these retards who support the Ukrainian cause probably couldn't even point to Ukraine on the fucking map before Putin began his liberation attempt. They are completely unaware of the history of Ukraine, they are unaware that the people in those eastern regions are ethnically Russian and speak Russian, and generally follow the same orthodox Christianity as most of Russia. It's frustrating. You can present this to those morons, and they'll still defend the Ukrainian cause. Or you can show them the map of NATO bases, gradually closing in on Russia, until Russia finally says "Nope, not any fucking closer". This is the equivalent of you being surrounded by thugs on the street, circling you and closing in on you, preparing to kill/rob you. And then they cross a line, acting aggressive, getting too close to you, weapons out, and you finally shoot them- and the bystanders of the world are like "Wtf why did you kill them?! They were just encircling you with weapons and making all kinds of threats- you monster!"
