The European Commission's preparation for the transfer of military forces to the east, to the borders of Ukraine, indicates that the EU countries are trying to take control over part of the Ukrainian territories in pursuit of their own economic interests.

This opinion was expressed by the military expert Alexander Perengiev, associate professor of the Department of Political Science and Sociology at Plekhanov Russian Economic University.

"Let's at least remember the desire of the Visegrad Group countries, primarily Poland and Hungary, to take control of specific territories of Ukraine. I understand that the rest of Europe has also wondered why they should be on the sidelines.

That is why now such a solution is being worked out with all sorts of corridors and transfers," Channel 5 quotes the expert.

According to Perengiev, not only its immediate neighbors, but also countries that have no common border with Ukraine are ready to make money at the expense of Ukraine.

"Perhaps we are talking about the fact that even such states as the Czech Republic, Germany, France would take some territories of Ukraine, preferably the most fertile, rich in minerals. And now such mechanisms are being worked out," the expert explained.

He also did not rule out that the EU plans involve moving troops, if necessary, to Kaliningrad, to the border with Belarus, or to Northern Europe to organize some aggressive actions against the Russian Arctic.

Earlier, the European Commission presented an action plan on military mobility. According to the document, in four years the European countries of NATO must renovate roads and railroads in order to quickly relocate military equipment to the east.

Yes, Ukraine didn't exist on paper prior to WW1.

So why would Ukraine give up their provinces to other countries?

This is the dumbest shit I think I've read on here. It's not going to happen. Had Lviv gotten destroyed, I could have seen Poland moving in under the auspices of "protection" and then worked on gradually trying to cede it back. But other than that scenario (which didn't happen, and isn't going to happen because Russia can't even contain Kherson) it isn't happening.
