we're probably talking about groups or families that go back millennia. names and identities have shifted and changed throughout time specifically to conceal their identity. these ppl do not want to be known by name. they insulate themselves through many layers of families and companies/trusts i wouldn't say any one group is wholly in control, but there is undoubtedly layers above we couldn't begin to name.
