The share of petroleum exports is declining - big difference.

Deploying additional tactical nuclear weapons to locations in Europe [..] might lead Moscow to react in ways contrary to U.S. and allied interests.

They were right. Zelensky talking about nuclear weapons and NATO's refusal to deny it was enough to trigger the military intervention.

They completely missed China. China knows that if Russia falls, they are next. China's economy is big enough to keep Russia's economy above water even if the western world stops any trade with Russia.
