Since the privatization of telecom market in france since a couple of decades ago, there has been an ongoing "tube war" underground; employees sabotaging other companies networks, cutting cables. Mostly public employees attacking rival private companies, because 1 they had a monopoly on tube and not anymore and 2 because the tubes networks were paid by tax payers in the first place, just like highways, and now private companies make a profit out of it, while socializing the losses of course, as usual
I'm not saying "public good private bad" here
I'm saying one was becoming mediocre and entitled with its monopoly, so good riddance about that, and the others are nothing but a bunch of vultures providing a relatively good service

This sounds highly counter productive and something that the people who rigged the elections would do.
