just wait until we experience a CME, and we lose ~70 to 80% of them. the entire contenant will go dark. do you think China would care to replace them very quickly? nope. it would take us MINIMUM half a decade with 100% worldwide capacity to even manufacture enough to service the US alone. and, that's assuming the manufacturing and logistical infrastructure are operating at 100% (which they won't be). could possibly be a dark decade for China as they service themselves first. even longer for us- endebting the next 100 years to China because we would be willing to pay almost anything to power ourselves again. we last experienced a CME of this magnitude when telegraphs were first introduced, and it literally set all of the telegraph lines on fire. they happen often enough to be planning for this scenario. but, our politicians are fucking retarded, so there's nothing in place for this inevitability. it's not a question of "if". it's a question of "when".
