It was only because of Lindsey the Simple that I looked into the history of assassinations of Russian heads of states.
He mentioned Brutus & Stauffenberg, (not Russian, of course) but it's kind of weird that he didn't mention:
Yakov Yurovsky or Ephraim Moisich & Anbal the Jassin
...who actually were willing to stab their leader in the back. I wonder why he missed them?
