They come up with a corrupt budget. Many of the new members of Parliament haven't been blackmailed, bribed, or threatened enough to obey orders, and were about to pass a less corrupt budget.

The Prime Minister plays some bullshit political strategy to free up enough time to blackmail, bribe, and threaten the new members of Parliament and prevent the less corrupt budget from being passed by the democratic majority. After which she'll be re-selected. And they will vote again on the corrupt budget.

Regardless, it may be that Andersson will be re-selected as the next Prime Minister,
