At risk of seeming like an easy target here, there was a story when I was in high school of young men "gangraping" a young women at a high school near me.

It turns out that this young woman was clamoring all day for a train and got drunk at a party that night and... well, that's exactly what happened.

These young men had their lives ruined. Their scholarships were revoked. They got suspended. They were forced to register as sex offenders.
Their lives were dismantled.
So the story goes, she was later bragging about getting these guys in trouble.

I don't mean to insist that women can't be victims. I clearly don't think women shouldn't not be believed or deserve to be raped. I don't hate women.
But all of us should just simply ask more questions when this kind of situation pops up. All parties involved need to be treated like adults.

Maybe the issue is that I'm just younger than probably everyone here and don't have kids yet.
Just like women should not be raped under any circumstances, young men shouldn't have their lives ruined for being unknowing and giving in to hormonal irresponsibility without any question of the woman's potential involvement.

The way that we fix this issue in the future is we explain the dire importance of avoiding promiscuity, of being modest and responsible for their own actions and avoiding people that leverage sexual situations for personal power in all its forms.
Being drunk is no excuse just like being horny is no excuse.

My issue with this situation is the glaring double standard: men and women both should be shamed for actions like this.
We must remember the implications of Feminism and how it affects both sexes.
