They're not exactly joining white farmers. Zulu's are just concerned that their traditional land (Ngonyama Trust) is going to be expropriated by the SA government. The traditional Zulu Monarchy and tribal leadership structure owns about as much land as whitey and feels they're next in line to lose their land when the Marxist ANC is done with SA whites. In the end, its still a race issue and currently Zulus are themselves taking part in land expropriation from whites. Dog eats dog, winks at cat, nods head at rat.
