Khashoggi was a spy caught in his deception. He had no choice, but to surrender to the Saudi's. If he didn't surrender himself for them to tie off his loose end, they'd have otherwise killed his family. I'm still in awe of the sociopathy of the royal family though, that the prince had the audacity to publicly shake the hand of the son of the man they had tortured and killed, and the son couldn't do a thing about it as he saw the narcissist grinning at him and within reach.
