I'm suspicious about the blackout. If soccer is as popular as people claim, it would've meant even the scrappers who raid transformers for their PCB oil and copper would've been their in a bar, cafe, or restaurant watching the game themselves, or they would've been risking murder at the hand of soccer loving locals in full on bush rage mode.
