The only way anybody gets "convicted" of anything in Ape-frica in the first place is: 1) Fail to offer a bribe to the right monkey. 2) Fail to offer as much as the monkey thinks the trade is worth. Whether you actually did anything or not, or even whether it was even against the "law" or not, is entirely irrelevant. Any ape-frican will tell you that power and authority is only a means to graft and graft is the only thing you can count on. I have never seen any interaction with "officials" in ape-frica that didn't result in a "problem". And likewise, I never saw "problem" that a few dollars didn't cause to suddenly evaporate like mist in the sun. Or White Men with guns. White Men with guns also seem to have a way of making problems there either fail to appear, or disappear fast.
