Not everywhere, it's a La Nina. 3 years in a row now, which is unusual but not unprecidented. Australia is experiencing wide spread flooding rains.

La Nina causes increased rains in Australia (and some other places like Pakistan) and drier weather in other parts of the world (South West US, Europe, etc). The climate is cyclical.
