Pretty obvious why it was done. Germany had an incentive to side with Russia. Natural gas from the pipeline. Now that incentive has been snatched away from them.

If I were German, I would be very annoyed with Joe Biden and his demented crew of freaks right now.

Maybe.. but then a new pipeline was already ready to go when this happened. So they probably don’t care so long as their supply of resources is uninterrupted.
