The article is close: decentralization of the supply chain is a start. The currency is the biggest problem because currently currency is created out of nothing and allows bad actors to actively destroy our infrastructure without having to pay for it. Switching to an asset backed or gold backed currency would require someone to actually lend real assets to cause the destruction. I can't think of anyone willing to do that. I'm not sure Bill Gates or Soros would be willing to give away real wealth to do that.
