Two civilian vessels in the Sea of Azov were hit by a missile strike from the Ukrainian city of Mariupol on Thursday, the press service of the border department of the FSB of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory told reporters.

"At 11:00 on February 24, 2022, Russian civilian cargo ships SGV-Flot and Serafim Sarovsky were hit by a missile strike by the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the waters of the Sea of Azov. The fire was conducted from Mariupol. As a result of the shelling, the SGV-Flot oil cargo was damaged, a fire broke out on board. One of the team members was seriously injured," the report says.
