I literally asked them about their funds being frozen and was told that was fake news, and that go fund me was only holding the funds until ID verification was done. I thought "so they have your money and haven't given it to you...that's frozen" and then a day or two later OH NO! Gofundme won't give us our money. What made them do so was people were instantiating chargebacks with their financial institutions for wire fraud and theft by deception. This causes MASSIVE fees for each transaction. EACH. They were getting absolutely slammed with thousands, possibly hundreds of thousands, of dollars worth of bank fees.
