Politicians are just reading off scripts someone else wrote for them without even so much as consciously registering what it is their words will do, and they sign things written for them that they never even read. They then are rewarded for their compliance by being given an exception to all the rules by their masters, the ones that really run the country, and are in their positions until death. Because of these free licenses given to the politicians to do whatever they please, and the additional desires of the true masters to corrupt them as full as possible, so as to keep their servants loyal and obedient, they will face into such depravity that not even the 120 days of Sodom could be comparable to the degree of wickedness these aristocrats engage in where the public doesn't see them. Occasionally, they are spotted engaging in their afforded special privileges of enjoying the liberties they had denied to the common people they falsely claim to represent, and it is at this point that the degree of disconnection that they have with the effects of their actions is made most apparent. These are your leaders, moreover, and of much more importance, these are the leaders you get under any form of system that elects its leadership. Democracy was a mistake. Demagogues have taken over, and corruption has overcome our higher ranks of power.
