Hiroshima and Nagasaki were rebuilt immediately, lol...only ricepaper and wood structures were burned in the attack. Stone structures were unaffected.
It was a FIREBOMBING...the US had a massive firebombing campaign against the wily Japs. Those two cities were the recipients of a new gas/air fuel bomb, not 'nukes'.
