Wasn't he also involved in testing cancer vaccines in third world countries that caused an in increased deaths and sterilisation.? Didn't a case end up in the Indian supreme court over this?

India is a notoriously corrupt country. All Bill has to do is give them a billion $ and they will let him do anything he wants there. In fact, this this probably an attempt to shake him down for more cash.
