Unfortunate, but how about we deal with the fact that the US is torturing political prisoners right here on US soil. From Assange to James Fields to the Jan 06 protesters. China may be a fuckstory but at least they hold no pretense of being a country based on personal freedom and freedom of expression and speech. The US won’t shut the fuck up about “Muh Freedom!” but is just as bad as any tin pot dictatorship out there.
