This is the appropriate response to this kind of display. Anything that makes a statement will get yanked down. People who actually died mean it'll be harder to do that.

Edit: you also need a delicate touch making a statement around people who are actually grieving a loss. They're the ones who are the closest to a moral high ground the left has, and the easiest way to make your side look bad is to be insensitive to the death of some kids grandma.

Most people can't process big numbers in a rational way. It's like when a little kid thinks their house costs a hundred dollars - they just hear 500 deaths and think "Wow, that's so many people!"
