To be fair, as a very young man, I used to hang out with some Burhanny Sufi Muslims in NYC and they were great people. They have a mosque in the Bronx. They believe in magic and shapeshifting and are highly focused on Dikr (similar to a rosary) so, in a sense they’re more fanatical, but they’re not as territorial as the Wahabi/Sunni/Saudi people. Basically, Islamic mystics. Stay at home type dudes.
