Its been hundreds of years since Europeans took over different continents.
At this point they have lived in many places as long as the so called indigenous had any really continuous civilization before Europeans came.
Most indigenous people actually didn't have continuous civilizations for very long. Most less than 100 years and they had displaced others before them.
