lol, this is very much not new and anyone with a basic understanding of the immune system would know it too

immunity does not mean you cant be reinfected, it means your body has the tools it needs to effectively prevent you from noticing you have been reinfected, it would be news if people where getting very ill from other strains but i still have not heard about that happening
