The only way to stop the flu from coming back would be to keep pretending that all flu cases are something else, currently that is COVID-19, but you could imagine a new imaginary pandemic to blame for flu cases if you wanted to, maybe COVID-21 or something (if you don't have much imagination).

This is the most Criminal stupidity i have ever heard. They can not be that stupid to believe, to actually think Americans believe 1. The flu has just gone away and 2. that a mask that stopped the flu, obviously did Nothing to stop their 'fear' pandemic of Covid? SO, they are stupid? OR, they are lying criminals?

The flu has been eradicated with good thoughts and candy. Covid will, however, continues to exist and mutate every year as covid-21, covid-22, covid-23, etc. You must take you jabs every year or they will revoke you vaccinated pass.
