You're not understanding me. I know what is says. I have studied the Bible. I'm asking why someone would put it between their relationship with God. The Bible is a book. It claims to be the word of God. That is all. You either believe the book or you don't. I believe in God but I've never seen a good reason to care about a book about pegan sun worship.
2 Timothy 3:16 - "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness"
The answer to your query is "Doctrine, reproof, correction and instruction in right doing."
So if I wrote a book and put this line in it, I would be writing the word of God?
Cant ignore the first part of the verse. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God"
If you believe the bible is not given by inspiration of God for doctrine, reproof, etc, then I have nothing for you.
Already offered you a brief study on how many many prophecies of the bible have been fulfilled 100%. Instead of acknowledging that would be possible only by divine inspiration, you postulated the enemy of the scriptures "Self fulfilled" then intentionally.
