I don't like to start sentences with "So" but I'll make an exception here:

So we got a new boss. The transition seemed harmless enough at first. Turns out, he's one of those tiny men that can't take an ounce of criticism without lashing out. The type that was beaten by his dad or by the other kids in school or both.

Anything, and I do mean any thing that goes against little Napoleon's mind, will get you into trouble. Because the little man feels attacked and he goes right to the feels instead of sticking to the facts.

We'll meet one day, in the server room, with no witnesses.

Tell me more, please. What it mean?

A coworker called today and I think he'll take the prey before I have a chance to get back there.

Short black man syndrome is someone who is exactly like you describe. Everything is a challenge to them, or a threat.

If you've ever met a short, black man - they tend to act like that. More chimp than champ. They have ego problems because they can't tower over you with strength.
