Some people can do this kind of work remote and some can't. The work pay's less (usually) for better workers (usually). It's a compromise you have to decide on if you want to go for it.

Prior employer actually benefited from work at home people. They got some .NET people in a couple of different states cracking out code. The locals weren't worth a shit. I think it depends on the employer and the job itself and what needs to be done.

I don't care if a guy is hooked up to a blow job machine and has his naked AI waifu on a projector screen. If he can code at the same time, cool.
