>Dell is the latest tech company to announce it’s ending its hybrid and remote work policy. Starting March 3rd, Dell employees will have to show up in person five days a week. In an email obtained by Business Insider, CEO Michael Dell writes that “all hybrid and remote team members who live near a Dell office will work in the office five days a week. Yeah, They saw increased productivity but then the local governments that were making tax dollars off the companies forcing people into parts of cities they didn't want to be in the first place resulting in them fucking with property values and spending money at shitty coffee shops and crap fast food joints every day.

The gov said "Hey, we are taking away your tax breaks if you don't get foot traffic back up in the downtown". The companies said "ok, fuck the workers, get back into the office".
