If true, this is the BEST example of why we don't need non-American labor in technology. If AI really is going to cut that many jobs and make the existing ones more than 30% more productive then we have ZERO need to use imported labor. Rather, we should fire them all, hire American and BAN all outsourcing and visa workers other than the top 0.00001% of experts.

What do I do now? I can't write bullshit articles, so journalism is out. I can't cook worth a shit, so the food service industry is out. I suppose I can run a vacuum cleaner, although the robot vacuums pretty much eliminate that too. Perhaps I can still make beds at large hotels.
