No shit. I was working remotely (but also in office when needed as critical staff) over the pandemic. Before the pandemic we were given 1 day per week to work remotely. I had talked to the manager a few months before and got the feeling that they were going to go back to full time in office. He had called me begging for me to not quit since most of the team had by that point.
I found a new job that was guaranteed remote permanently. I put in my notice. The day after my last day at the old job the required everyone at every site to RTO a full 5 days per week...for no real reason whatsoever. Im glad I left, that boss was a dick anyway.
